It has been a while since I posted anything! I have been very busy making a ton of caramel and flavored popcorn to sell at events. My first event was at Victoria’s Black Swan Inn at their Celtic Fest. It was a great little festival with some seriously talented musicians. It was nice to get the pop-up stand going and see how things went. Overall, it was a success!
I finished up another small market in the downtown San Antonio area this past weekend, marking my 2nd successful pop-up. We didn’t have as much traffic this time, but still sold a bunch of popcorn. I was able to talk to some really great vendors there and network a little bit, which helped make the day successful.
I have another festival planned in May: YES Fest!
According to Rocket Turtle Social’s post, “YES Fest! [is] a HUGE festival celebrating positive energy! A completely FREE event for the whole family, pups included! We have gathered performance artists (acro yoga, capoeira, Folklorico, etc.), live music by local artists, artisan vendors, local non-profits & more, for a visually & audibly stunning experience!”
YES Fest! is May 11, 2pm-10pm at the Alamo Beer Co. 202 Lamar St. 78202
Please come join me at the festival! I would love to see some familiar faces at my booth, and meet some of the dozens of people I have not met that are signing up for my website following!
I will post more recipes, eventually. For now, the whole website/business has taken a bit of an unforeseen turn that has led me in to selling popcorn and treats. I would love to hear from you though, please post some of your thoughts on this website! Tell your friends!
Steve
Your candy popcorn is delicious! I can’t decide which is my favorite – it could be the lemon, or the caramel, or the dark chocolate caramel! Looking forward to getting more…thank you Steven!
You’re welcome! Thanks again! Let me know which flavors you want and I can ship it out to you. This last week has been super busy and I haven’t had the time to do a lot of popcorn-making. I got the lemon flavoring in though, so I can whip up some lemon for you if you want it!
